Sacrament of Baptism

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.
Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church, and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word." CCC 1213

Infant Baptism:

  1. Eligible to infants below 7 years.

  2. Celebrated after every 3 months.

For children above seven years and adults who have not received this sacrament of baptism are encouraged to join catechism classes.

Sacrament of Confirmation

"By the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.
Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed." ~ CCC 1285

  1. Celebrated annually during the Parish family day on the first Sunday of June.

Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist

"The Holy Eucharist completes Christian initiation. Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism and configured more deeply to Christ by Confirmation participate with the whole community in the Lord's own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist. " ~ CCC 1322

  1. Catechism classes for children are on Sundays from 10:00AM.

  2. Catechism classes for adults are on Sundays from 12:00PM.

Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation

"Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labours for their conversion." ~ CCC 1422

"Everyone says to himself: 'When was the last time I went to confession?' And if it has been a long time, don't lose another day! Go, the priest will be good. And Jesus, (will be) there, and Jesus is better than the priests - Jesus receives you. He will receive you with so much love! Be courageous, and go to confession." ~ Pope Francis

  1. Confession is on Saturdays from 8:30 AM

Sacrament of Anointing of The Sick

"By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ." ~ CCC 1499

  1. The aged and the sick are visited every last Thursday of the month, or in case of emergency.

Sacrament of Matrimony

“The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." ~ CCC 1601

  1. Every couple celebrating the Sacrament of matrimony in our Church is expected to undergoing a premarital counselling programme which entails 9 sessions of fully integrated and practical topics about marriage life.

  2. These sessions are done in the Church premises.

  3. Topics taught are Marriage as a Sacrament, Enneagram (Personality), Love Courtship and Marriage, Natural family planning, communication in marriage, Handling finances in marriage, parenting, marriage in today's world, dialogue, intimacy in marriage etc.
