  1. TITHE: 1STAND 2ND SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

Next Sunday is the day for tithing. We thank and appreciate all who give their tithe to the Lord.   May God bless you.

  1. THE SUNDAY OF THE WORD OF GOD(THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME)

Pope Francis has promulgated the 3rd Sunday of ordinary time as the    Sunday for the Word of God.  We are called to Read, Meditate and put in practice the Word of God.

  1. SUNDAY READINGS:

Practice for those taking Sunday Readings will be on Saturday after 8.00 a.m. Mass.  All those Taking Reading MUST come for the practice.

NB: If one fails to come for practice he/she will be replaced.

  1. YEAR OF THE FAMILY
  • Today is the Family Sunday Mass. We are all encouraged to wear the Year of family T-shirts and sit together as family.
  • Emmaus walk continues every Sunday at 5.00 p.m. starting from the church compound. Come and join in the spirit of keeping healthy and bonding as a community.
  1. YOUTH SERVING CHRIST TALK

There will be a talk on financial matters for the youth today after 8.30 a.m.  Mass at Fr. Kianduma Hall.  All youth are welcome.

  1. SACRED HEART OF JESUS DEVOTION GROUP

The Sacred Heart of Jesus Devotion Group will have formation class today at 2.00 p.m.  All members are requested to attend.

  1. W.A. ANNOUNCEMENT:

Members are reminded their monthly meeting today after 8.30 a.m. Mass.  New members are welcome.

  1. PPC MEETING

There will be a PPC meeting on 2nd February, 2020 starting at 3.00 P.M.  All moderators of Jumuiya’s and Solidarity groups are requested to attend.

  1. C.A. ANNOUNCEMENT:
  • There will be a Young Catholic Adults meeting together with all Youth aged between 27-35years after 8.30 a.m. Mass at Thomas Burke Hall.
  • There will be commissioning of Y.C.A. members during 8.30 a.m. Mass on Sunday 2nd February 2020.
  1. INFANT BAPTISM

Registration of Infant Baptism is ongoing at the Parish Office.

  1. M.C. ANNOUNCEMENT:

The PMC will hold their enrolment on 16 February 2020. Parents are asked to   register their children at the canopy after the 8.30 am mass. New enrolment is Ksh. 1,100 to cater for uniform, scarf, Bible, calendar and prayer book, flag, refreshments on that day.  Renewal is  Ksh. 200/-.  to cater for refreshment and entertainment.

  1. MASS ANIMATION FOR COMING SUNDAY 2ND FEBRUARY,2020

WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

 07.00A.M.     –           St. Jude Jumuiya

          8.30 a.m.          –           Y.C.A.

        10.15 a.m.        –           Charismatic Group

        12.00 noon       –           St. Francis of Assisi Jumuiya

Practice for those taking Sunday Readings will be on Saturday after 8.00 a.m. Mass.
